Golden Milk. -- wicworks -- usda
This warm, creamy, and subtly sweet drink can be a great start to a hectic day, or a great way to end one! It can be made vegan, but either version offers up some good nutrients, like calcium, potassium, protein, and vitamins D and B12.
Ingredients
  • 1 c soy beverage (unsweetened, can use regular milk)
  • 2 t honey (plus additional to taste - to make vegan, swap maple syrup)
  • 1 1⁄2 t almond butter (optional)
  • 1⁄2 t vanilla extract
  • 1⁄2 t cinnamon (ground, plus additional for serving)
  • 1⁄4 t turmeric (ground)
  • 1⁄8 t ginger (ground)
