Hot Begian Waffle
A hot belgian waffle topped with your choice of i.c. and your choice of topping, finished with whipped cream & a cherry.

Ingredients
  • 3 eggs
  • 3 ⁄4 cup granulated sugar
  • 1 ⁄4 cup unsalted butter melted and cooled
  • 2 tablespoons pure vanilla extract
  • 1 cup all-purpose flour
  • 1 teaspoon baking powder
  • 1 pinch Kosher salt
  • Ice Cream and Sundae Toppings
Steps
  1. In the bowl of a stand mixer, beat the eggs until bright yellow. Gradually add the granulated sugar.
  2. Add the butter, vanilla, flour, baking powder and salt. Mix until well incorporated.
  3. Heat a Belgium Waffle maker and spray with non-stick cooking spray.
  4. Drop batter by ¼ cup onto heated waffle iron. Close and cook for 2 minutes, or until dessert waffle is golden brown.
  5. To serve, cool then top with ice cream and sundae toppings.
