Matsutake Pasta with Miso Butter

  • ½ pound pasta We used fresh pappardelle pasta
  • ¼ to ½+ Cup salted pasta water reserved from cooking the pasta
  • 1 scallion chopped
  • Freshly-ground black pepper to taste
