  • 1 tsp sea salt flakes (or ¾ tsp regular table salt), plus extra for seasoning
  • ½ tsp cracked black pepper
  • 1 ½ cups (225 g) plain (all-purpose) flour
  • 4 eggs, whisked
  • 3 cups ( 180 g) panko breadcrumbs (see note 2 if baking)
  • Oil, for cooking (see recipe instructions below)
