Mexican Pizza

Ingredients
  • 1 Lb.  Ground beef or ground turkey
  • ½ C.  Onion, diced
  • 3  Garlic cloves, minced
  • 1 Pkg. Taco seasoning
  • 1 Can  Fat free refried beans, 15 oz.
  • 16 - 8”  Flour tortillas
  • 1 Jar  Salsa, your flavor, 15 oz.
  • 2 C.  3 Cheese blend
  • ½ C.  Green onions, chopped
  • 1 ½ C.  Roma tomatoes, diced

  • Sour cream
Steps
  1. Place meat, onion and garlic in a skillet over medium heat. Cook until beef is evenly browned. Drain off grease. Season the meat with the taco seasoning.
  2. Coat a large non-stick sheet pan with non-stick cooking spray. Place 4 tortillas on the sheet pan and cover with a layer of refried beans. Spread half of the seasoned meat over each tortilla and then cover with a second tortilla. Bake for 10 minutes in the preheated oven. Remove from the oven and allow to cool slightly.
  3. Spread half of the salsa over the top tortillas. Top the pizzas with half of the cheese, tomatoes, and green onions. Return the pizzas to the oven, bake until the cheese is melted, about 5 to 10 minutes. Remove from the oven and allow to cool slightly. Slice each pizza into 4 pieces and serve.
