Pam's Chili
This chili is sweeter than what most people are familiar with.
Ingredients
  • 2 lbs ground beef
  • 1 lg onion, chopped
  • 1 lg green pepper, chopped
  • 2 cans (1 lb 12 oz) tomatoes
  • 2 cans (15oz) tomato sauce
  • 1 can (40oz) kidney beans
  • 4 tbsp chili powder
  • 2 tsp salt
  • 3 tsp cinnamon
  • ½ tsp nutmeg
  • ⅛ tsp cayenne pepper
  • ½ to 1 cup sugar (or to taste)
Steps
  1. Saute' ground beef, onion and green pepper over medium heat until beef is browned and onions are tender.
  2. Add remaining ingredients and simmer for 1 to 2 hours.
