Ingredients
  • Below is the recipe for the Red Clover Foragers Cake. To Make Goldenrod Forager’s Cake simply omit the clover milk for regular milk.  Fold in ⅓ cup fresh (or dried) goldenrod blossoms after wet and dry ingredients have been combined and before pouring into greased pan.

  • 1 cup milk
  • 1 cup dried red clover
  • subheading: Ingredients - for Cake:
  • 1 & ½ cups of all purpose flour
  • ¼ tsp of Baking Soda
  • ¼ tsp of Baking Powder
  • ¼ tsp of Salt
  • ½ cup of Clover Milk (see above)
  • 1 ½ stick of butter at room temperature
  • ½ cup of white sugar
  • ½ cup of brown sugar
  • 3 eggs
  • subheading: Ingredients for the Icing:
  • 4 oz. cream cheese at room temperature
  • ½ stick of butter (¼ cup) at room temp
  • 2 tsp vanilla extract
  • Pinch of kosher salt
  • 1 & ½ to 3 cups of confectioners sugar (depending on desired consistency)
