  • 3 to 5 lb Boneless Chuck Roast

  • 1 to 2 Tablespoons Salt
  • 2 Teaspoons Black Pepper
  • 2 Tablespoon Flour
  • 1 Medium Onion, peeled and sliced
  • New Potatoes (Yellow or Red Potatoes are delicious as well)
  • Whole Carrots, sliced into 2-inch pieces
  • 3 to 4 cups of Beef Broth
  • 3 Cloves Garlic
  • 2 Sprigs Fresh Thyme
  • 2 Sprigs Fresh Rosemary
  • 2 Bay Leaves
