Sausage Shrimp Tortellini Soup- Crockpot or Dutch

Crockpot takes long but soup is seasoned longer. Dutch pan never used but can be used for persons in a hurry. You have to. figure your time.

Ingredients
- 1lb spicey or sweet italian sausage
- 30 to. 42 precooked shrimp (cook for 2min in old bay season,)
- 32 oz + 5oz chicken broth
- 2 cans petit tomatoes(garlic, basil, oregano) 14oz
- 1 bag of spinach/kale mix or only spinach
- 20oz bag of frozen tortellini ...your choice
- 1 onion
- 2 TBsp minced garlic
- 2 TBsp butter
- Salt/pepper to taste
- 8oz pkg cream cheese
- Parmesan cheese
Steps
- 1. Add broth, spinach/kale and tomatoes to crockpot set it on hi for 5hr
- 2. After 2 hrs cooking add Tortellini, if not totally covered add additional chicken broth 5oz (more or less) Stir
- 3. Put shrimp in boiling water seasoned with old bay season. Remove from heat set aside. ( remove any shells before adding to soup)
- 4. Remove casing from sausage. Chop in small bite size. In a food processor chop onions. Melt butter in frying pan add onions and minced garlic. When onions become soft and translucent add sausage. Salt and pepper to taste. Drain add to crockpot. Stir
- 5. 4 hrs cooking time done. Last hour add cream cheese chop in cubes. Stir constantly til melted. Last 15 minutes add shrimp. Stirring.
- 6. Sprinkle parmesan cheese on top of each serving bowl. Bon Apetite !
