Ingredients
  • 1-½ cups uncooked basmati rice Note 1
  • 2-½ cups chicken stock or broth Note 2
  • 1 teaspoon each: garlic powder, onion powder
  • ½ teaspoon each: dried thyme, dried oregano
  • 2 tablespoons dried parsley
  • salt and pepper
  • 8 tablespoons unsalted butter
  • Optional: fresh flat-leaf parsley, 1 large lemon
