  • ½ tsp balsamic vinegar
  • 1 to 2 tbsp icing sugar (optional and to taste)
  • subheading: For the vanilla cream:
  • 150 g double cream
  • 1 tsp vanilla paste
  • 1 tbsp icing sugar
  • subheading: To finish:
  • ½ punnet fresh strawberries, washed, hulled and halved
  • About 20 meringue kisses (homemade or store bought)
