Servings: 8 to 10
Servings: 8-10
Ingredients
- 1 package of Pepperidge Farm puff pastry
- Apricot jam, preserves or any other flavor that you like
- 8 oz cream cheese
- 1 tsp vanilla
- ½ cup powdered sugar
- Plus powder sugar for dusting
Steps
- Add 1 t of vanilla and ½ cup powdered sugar to your cream cheese. Mix well with whisk or hand mixer.
- Cut up your puff pastry into 8 or 10 pieces.
- Lay some of the cream cheese mixture and 1 to 2 t of apricot jam on each puff.
- Twist the 2 diagonal ends together and brush with an egg wash.
- Preheat oven to 350 degrees and cook until golden brown approx 15 to 18 minutes
Notes
- Verdict: not real pretty but they were pretty yummy. I had quite a bit of the cream cheese mixture left over. I mixed in some apricot. Jam to it and used it as frosting for my banana bread.
- Use your puff pastry within 40 minutes. Hers didn't puff up as it should have.
