Moist Pineapple Cake Topped with Cream Cheese Frosting
Ingredients

  • 1 teaspoon of baking soda
  • 1 teaspoon of baking powder (baking powder)
  • ¼ teaspoon of salt
  • 1 can of crushed pineapple in its natural juice
  • 2 large eggs, lightly beaten
  • 2 teaspoons of liquid vanilla extract
  • subheading: ++Cream Cheese Frosting:
  • 1 cup  8 ounces of cream cheese, cold
  • ¼ cup unsalted butter
  • 1 ¾ cup icing sugar, sifted
  • 1 to 2 teaspoons of liquid vanilla extract (optional)

  • 1 cup of chopped walnuts (I employ slivered almonds)
