I didn’t add enough spice thinking it would be too much, kinda bland next time add the written amount. Cook in oven, the grill is hard to estimate even with the probe
Ingredients
- 4 bone-in, skin-on chicken leg quarters (about 2 pounds), skin removed
- Salt
- ⅓ cup fresh lemon juice (from 1 to 2 lemons)
- 4 garlic cloves
- 1 (2-inch) piece fresh ginger, peeled
- 1 cup plain yogurt
- 1 tablespoon sweet paprika
- 1 teaspoon Kashmiri chile powder
- 1 teaspoon garam masala
- 1 teaspoon ground cumin
- ½ teaspoon ground cardamom
- 2 tablespoons melted ghee or butter
