Pepperoni Mac and Cheese
Ingredients
  • 1-pound box cavatappi pasta
  • 7 tablespoons butter, divided
  • ¼ cup flour
  • 3 cups shredded pepper jack or mozzarella cheese (or a mix of both)
  • 3 cups whole milk
  • ½ cup heavy cream
  • 1 tablespoon sriracha sauce
  • 2 teaspoons mustard
  • 1 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 1 teaspoon Italian seasoning
  • Salt and pepper, to taste
  • ½ red bell pepper, diced
  • 4 ounces Sugardale Pepperoni (½ of 8-ounce package) sliced (reserve some whole slices for topping dish)
  • ½ cup panko breadcrumbs
