Ingredients
- 1¼ Cups All Purpose Flour
- 1¼ Cups Cocoa Powder
- ½ tsp Salt
- 3 Sticks Unsalted Butter melted
- 3 Cups Sugar
- 6 Eggs
- 1 Tbl Vanilla Extract
- 3 Cups chopped pecans (optional)
Steps
- Preheat oven to 350°
- Lightly grease 9” x 13” pan and line bottom with parchment.
- In medium bowl sift flour, cocoa, salt.
- In a saucepan melt butter over low heat.
- Remove from heat, stir in sugar.
- Add eggs 2 at a time stirring after each addition.
- Stir in Vanilla.
- Add mixture all at once to dry ingredients.
- Beat on medium speed until blended.
- Mix in nuts in evenly (if using.)
- Bake 40 minutes. DO NOT OVER COOK.
