  • 8 ounces tomato sauce
  • ½ cup dry red wine
  • 1 bay leaf
  • 2 teaspoons fresh rosemary minced, or ¾ teaspoon dried
  • 2 teaspoons fresh oregano minced, or ¾ teaspoon dried
  • ½ teaspoon crushed red pepper flakes
  • 3 tablespoons capers drained
