Turkey Brine
Brine for smoking a 15lb turkey.
Ingredients
  • 3 gallons water.
  • 1 Cup favorite BBQ rub.
  • 1 Cup brown sugar.
  • 2 TBSP granulated garlic.
  • 2 TBSP Olive oil.
  • ½ Cup Worcestershire sauce.
  • 3 oranges, quartered.
  • 12 to 16 lb turkey.
Steps
  1. Add all ingredients to a large cooler and submerge turkey. Add ice to keep turkey cool and submerged.
  2. Brine for 18 to 24 hours.
