Teriyaki Pepper Steak
Ingredients
  • 2 pounds steak (feel free to use a cheap cut, it’ll get tender as it cooks)
  • 2 onions
  • 2 green peppers
  • 2 red peppers
  • 2 tbsp sesame oil
  • 1 ¾ c beef stock
  • ⅔ c soy sauce
  • 2 tsp ground ginger
  • 3 tbsp and 2 tsp chopped garlic
  • 1 tsp black pepper
Steps
  1. Slice steak, onions and peppers into strips
  2. Mix beef stock, soy sauce, ginger, 3 tbsp garlic and black pepper in a bowl
  3. Set IP to sauté and Add sesame oil
  4. Sauté steak, onions and peppers and 2 tsp of garlic for 2 minutes.
  5. Turn off IP
  6. Pour in liquid
  7. Close IP lid and set to manual for 25 minutes.
  8. Quick release
  9. Serve over rice.
  10. Note: you can thicken sauce with corn starch if desired. I didn’t have any on hand tonight and it was quite good without it.

  • It was a big hit with my husband! Considering this is what he orders when we get Chinese I think that makes it a keeper here! Enjoy!
