Danish Rice Pudding

Ingredients
  • 1 cup rice
  • 4 cups milk
  • 8 Tbsp. sugar
  • ½ tsp. salt
  • 2 cups whipped cream (½ pint, whipped)
  • 2 tsp. vanilla
Steps
  1. Bake rice and milk in casserole dish at 350° about 60 minutes.
  2. Add sugar and salt and let cool.
  3. After cooled, whip cream and add along with vanilla.
Notes
  • *Serve with pie filling over the top. I prefer with a little sugar.
  • **Danish put in 1 almond. The person who receives the almond gets the special blessing for the new year.
