Hot Taco Dip
Helen Oakley served this at a variety of fun gatherings. It was a must-have on Super Bowl Sundays with her family and friends.

Ingredients
  • 1 pound ground beef
  • ½ medium onion, chopped
  • 1 8 oz can tomato sauce
  • 1 package taco seasoning
  • ¼ cup water
  • ½ to 1 tsp dried oregano
  • 1 8 oz cream cheese
  • Parmesan cheese to taste
Steps
  1. 1. Brown ground beef with onion. Drain if desired.
  2. 2. Add tomato sauce, taco seasoning, water, oregano and cream cheese. Mix well and simmer until heated through. Remove from heat and sprinkle with Parmesan.
  3. 3. Serve hot with tortilla chips or Fritos.
Notes
  • Can be made gluten free by using gluten free taco seasoning. Can be made dairy- free using a plant based cream cheese and replacing the Parmesan cheese with nutritional yeast.
