Aloha Zuke (spicy, garlicky cucumbers)
Ingredients
  • 3 to 4 Japanese cucumbers
  •  
  • 1 TBS Salt
  • 1 tsp Mustard (dry - Coleman's Mustard)
  • 3 to 4 Cloves Garlic (minced)
  • 1 to 2 Chili Peppers (sliced thin - remove seeds for less heat)
  • 2 ½ TBS Sugar
  • 1 ½ tsp Ajinomoto
  • 2 ½ TBS Japanese vinegar
Steps
  1. Slice cucumbers into bite sized pieces (¼" - ½" half rounds)
  2. Add ingredients together and mix well to make "su" dressing
  3. Add cucumbers and refrigerate for 1 to 2 days before eating
