Everything is better with bacon, right? Including these sweet chicken tenderloins. Quick and easy to bake in the oven while preparing the rest of the meal.

Ingredients
  • 3 Tbsp brown sugar
  • ⅛ tsp salt
  • 1½ lb chicken tenderloins
  • 12 slices bacon
Steps
  1. Preheat oven to 400°F.
  2. Mix together sugar and salt in a small bowl. Rub mixture over chicken. Wrap 1 to 2 slices of bacon around each chicken tenderloin, securing with a tooth pick if necessary.
  3. Arrange chicken on a wire rack on a rimmed baking sheet. Bake 18 to 20 minutes or until chicken and bacon is done.
Notes
  • Other spices can be added to the sugar and salt depending on personal preferences. For example, if you want a bit of a kick, add ⅛ teaspoon of cayenne pepper. Alternatively, you could add a dash of cinnamon and nutmeg.
  • Depending on the thickness of the bacon and how crispy you want it when it's done, you can also consider pre-cooking the bacon on one side. Then, when wrapping the chicken, place the cooked side against the chicken so that the baking process finishes the cooking of the outside.
