Avocado-Tomatillo Salsa Verde
Ingredients

  • 1 pound tomatillos husks removed, peeled and roughly chopped
  • ½ avocado
  • 3 serrano peppers chopped - use jalapeno peppers for a milder salsa
  • ¼ medium white onion chopped
  • 2 cloves garlic chopped
  • Juice from half a lime
  • ¼ cup chopped cilantro
  • Salt to taste

  • Add all ingredients to a food processor. Process until smooth.
