  • soaked bamboo skewers
  • 1 tbsp vegetable oil
  • 60 ml (¼ cup) soy sauce
  • 2 tbsp mirin
  • 2 tbsp sake
  • 1 tbsp sugar
  • 1 tsp grated ginger
  • 1 tbsp finely chopped chives, to serve
  • ½ tsp shichimi togarashi, to serve
