Sangria

Ingredients
- Grape Juice. A good-quality grape juice mimics the signature blood-red color and base flavors of classic sangria
- Pomegranate Juice. Adding a splash of pomegranate juice adds a little brightness and tartness, which is so lovely with the grape juice, citrus, and fruit. This mix of fruit juices tastes so crisp and fresh!
- Sugar (If You Need It). Depending on your preferences & the tartness of your juice, you may want to add a little sugar for sweetness. This is 100% optional, and you can add as much or as little as you need.
- Oranges. Next comes a whole lot of fresh fruit, starting with orange slices. I love the sweet, tangy, citrus notes of oranges.
- Green Apples. Fresh, diced green apples add such a pretty color contrast to the red juice of a non-alcoholic sangria.
- Lemons & Limes. Many sangria recipes use either lemons OR limes, but I love to add a mix for the color and flavor.
- Strawberries. I love how gorgeous strawberries are. I usually leave the strawberry greens on for an additional pop of green. (I wash them well using this treatment, which keeps them vibrant and fresh!)
- Sparkling Water. I love to finish my virgin sangria with sparkling water (or carbonated water or soda water) rather than something like lemon-lime soda or ginger ale. The bubbles are such a happy touch that makes each sip feel special and helps cut the sweetness.
- Ice Cubes. Then, you’ll chill the drink with plenty of ice.
