Ingredients
- ½ Cup butter
- 6 Tablespoons sugar
- 1½ cups all purpose (unbleached) flour
- ⅛ Teaspoon salt
Steps
- Cream butter & sugar; gradually add flour & salt.
- Press into an 11” round cake pan.
- Prick the edges with a fork.
- Bake at 325° for 17 to 20 minutes until golden
- Cut into wedges
- Makes 1 dozen.
Notes
- Make these sparkle by sprinkling with coarse , colored sugar while still warm
