  • ¼ teaspoon Kashmiri chili powder
  • ½ teaspoon salt
  • ¼ teaspoon black pepper powder
  • 1 ½ lbs Yukon gold potatoes or russet potatoes (680 grams) - peeled and cut into 1 ½ inch cubes
  • 2 tablespoon heavy cream or to taste (optional)
  • 1 tablespoon butter cut into small cubes
